Peru State College Homecoming Festivities Set for Sept. 27 – Oct. 3

 

(Peru, Neb.) Peru State College (PSC) President Dan Hanson today released a schedule of events for the college’s annual homecoming celebration, which will be held Monday, Sept. 27 through Sunday, Oct. 3 on campus and in downtown Peru. The theme of this year’s festivities is The Tradition of Bleeding Blue.

Following is a complete list of events, times, locations and any associated costs. Events that are open to the public are noted by an asterisk (*).

Monday, Sept. 27
11 a.m. - 1 p.m. - True Blue Tie Dye, Student Center
9 p.m. - Bobcat Movie Night: The Blind Side, Student Center

Tuesday, Sept. 28
11 a.m. - 1 p.m. - Bobcat Trivia, Student Center
7 p.m. - Faculty/Staff Talent Show, Student Center

Wednesday, Sept. 29
11 a.m. – 1 p.m. - Bobcat Karaoke, Student Center
7 p.m. - “Mission Improvable,” Student Center

Thursday, Sept. 30
11 a.m. – 1 p.m. - Bobcat Photos, Student Center
5–7 p.m. - Tailgate, Cafeteria & Campus Green
6-7 p.m. - *Pep Rally, Campus Green
7-11 p.m. - Laser Tag, Intramural/Band Field
7:30 p.m. - *Marcus is Walking, College Theatre
(PSC students admitted free. $10 admission for adults, $5 admission for seniors and children under 12.)

Friday, Oct. 1
9 a.m. - Powder Puff Football, Intramural/Band Field
7:30 p.m. - *Marcus is Walking, College Theatre
(PSC students admitted free. $10 admission for adults, $5 admission for seniors and children under 12.)

Saturday, Oct. 2
10:30 a.m. - *90th Annual Homecoming Parade, Peru

(Admission is $6 for adults, $3 for non-PSC students. PSC students with a student ID and children seven and younger are free.)
Halftime - *Coronation of Homecoming King and Queen, Oak Bowl                  
7:30 p.m. - *Marcus is Walking, College Theatre
(PSC students admitted free. $10 admission for adults, $5 admission for seniors and children under 12. Those with game day program admitted free.)
9 p.m. - Bobcat Ball, Student Center
