Bobcat Relay for Life Team to Host Fundraiser Walk at Steamboat Trace Trail Friday, April 23

(Peru, Neb.) Peru State College’s (PSC) “Bobcats” Relay for Life Team will host a two-mile fundraiser walk from 5-6 p.m. Friday, April 23 on the Steamboat Trace Trail in Peru.
The public is invited and encouraged to participate.

The Bobcats are being led by Adam DeBilzon, a senior elementary education major from Wausa, and Lance Meyers, a senior criminal justice major from Johnson. Both students are peer mentor for Student Success Services.

This year’s Relay for Life theme is “Celebrating More Birthdays,” so all walkers are invited to a birthday party at Peru City Hall for complimentary refreshments following their walk.

Participants can register the evening of the walk at the trail. Registration is $15 for adults and $12 for students. It includes a free t-shirt and a chance to win a birthday present at the party. All proceeds will be donated to the Nemaha County Relay for Life. Rain location is PSC’s Al Wheeler Activity Center.

For more information about registering for the walk or to make a donation, please contact Peggy Groff at 402-872-2438 or pgroff@peru.edu.
