PSC’s Phi Alpha Theta Chapter to Host Pony Express Conference Thursday, April 8
(Peru, Neb.) Peru State College’s (PSC) Phi Alpha Theta chapter will host a celebratory conference in honor of the Pony Express’ 150th Anniversary titled The Courage to Chase Destiny on campus from 9 a.m.–7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 8.
Keynote speaker for the event is Christopher Corbett, celebrated author of Orphans Preferred: The Twisted Truth and Lasting Legend of the Pony Express. Other features of the event include a Buffalo Bill Cody re-enactor from the Nebraska Humanities Council, PSC English Professor Dr. Dan Holtz with his song about the Pony Express, as well as many other Pony Express related papers, posters, DVDs, etc.
