532 Earn Degrees from Peru State College


( Peru, Neb.) Peru State College (PSC) President Stan Carpenter today released the names of 532 graduates who earned degrees at PSC’s 2009 Commencement Ceremony.

Carpenter said, “We are incredibly excited for what the future holds for our graduates, and we’re proud to have played a role in helping them achieve their goals and dreams. I wish them all the best in their future endeavors.”

Candidates for graduation are listed in the attached document alphabetically by hometown along with their area of study and academic distinction awarded. In order to graduate summa cum laude (with highest distinction), a student must have earned a cumulative grade point average of 3.90 to 4.0; for magna cum laude (with high distinction), 3.75 to 3.89; and for cum laude (with distinction), 3.50 to 3.74.
