Peru State to Offer Regularly Scheduled GED
Testing the Last Tuesday of Every Month
Next Test Scheduled for Feb. 24
(Peru, Neb.) Peru State College will now offer the Test of General Education Development (GED) on campus the last Tuesday of every month. The next test is schedule for Tuesday, Feb. 24 in the Academic Resource Center, Room 209.
Those interested in testing must register in advance by contacting Director of Student Assessment and Success Services Ursula Waln at 402-872-2341 or email@example.com. The testing fee is $80. A $15 retest fee is assessed for any subject test that is repeated. Peru State has been an official GED testing center since 1987, providing an avenue for residents of southeast Nebraska who are home schooled or who have not graduated from high school to earn high-school level educational diplomas. Those under the age of 18 must attend GED preparation sessions (not offered through PSC, but available in local communities) and apply for prior testing approval from the Nebraska Department of Education.
