Peru State Student Groups, Mayhew Cabin Sponsor Speaker in Observance of Black History Month


(Peru, Neb.) Thom Rosenblum, a historian with the Brown v. Board of Education National Historic Site in Topeka, Kan., will deliver remarks in observance of Black History Month on the Peru State College (PSC) campus at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 5 in the Academic Resource Center Conference Room.


Rosenblum’s visit is being co-sponsored by PSC student groups Phi Alpha Theta and Black Student Union, along with the Mayhew Cabin. His remarks will focus on the history of slavery and the slave trade.


The event is free and open to the public.
