Peru State Art Professor Selected for Macworld Conference Exhibit
(Peru, Neb.) Peru State College (PSC) Art Professor Randy Waln is one of 26 artists from across the county selected to exhibit his work at the Macworld Conference and Expo Digital Art Gallery in San Francisco. The annual event is attended by more than 40,000 Mac enthusiasts each year.
Waln’s work chosen for the exhibition is a digital print titled “Atonement.” In addition to showing in the Digital Art Gallery, Waln’s work will appear on the Macworld Web site for the next year at http://www.macworldexpo.com/SitePage.aspx?site=9&id=a3a62faf-a0ef-4da4-9b2d-d8a28590e5fe.
Judges for the exhibition included Apple Computer Co-Founder Steve Wozniak, Principle Scientist for Hewlett-Packard Laboratories Nathan Moroney, Director of the Museum of Computer Art Don Archer, Photoshop Product Manager John Nack and Pop Artist Peter Max.
