472 Earn Degrees from Peru State College


(Peru, Neb.) Peru State College (PSC) President Dr. Ben Johnson today released the names of 472 graduates who were granted 550 degrees at PSC’s 2008 Commencement Ceremony.


Dr. Johnson said, “We are incredibly excited for what the future holds for our graduates, and we’re proud to have played a role in helping them achieve their goals and dreams. I wish them all the best in their future endeavors.”


Candidates for graduation are listed below alphabetically by hometown along with their area of study and any distinctions that were awarded. In order to graduate summa cum laude (with highest distinction), a student must have earned a cumulative grade point average of 3.90 to 4.0, for magna cum laude (with high distinction) 3.75 to 3.89 and for cum laude (with distinction) 3.50 to 3.74, based on seven semesters of course work.
