Peru State History Professor to be Featured on Omaha Radio Station at Noon on Friday
(Peru, Neb.) Peru State College (PSC) English Professor Dr. Dan Holtz will be featured on Omaha radio station KIOS (91.5 FM) at noon this Friday, March 28.
The station will air one of the three performances Holtz recently presented for the Durham Western Heritage Museum in Omaha, titled Nebraska through Song and Story.
Holtz has taught a course in Nebraska literature for more than 15 years and has co-directed, along with PSC History Professor Dr. Sara Crook, five teacher institutes and statewide tours that have explored Nebraska’s history and literature. He has also performed historic Nebraska folk music across the state and by invitation in Washington, D.C., for more than a decade and has recorded a CD featuring a collection of his music.
Holtz serves as a member of the Nebraska State Historical Society’s Board of Trustees.
