Maintenance Repair Worker II - Grounds

Starting salary $1,915 per month. Excellent benefits package, including reduced tuition.
Two years of work experience in maintenance, repair or construction activities in one or more craft disciplines including experience in grounds and landscape maintenance. Knowledge of methods, practices, tools, materials and equipment utilized in maintenance and grounds maintenance required. Qualified applicant must have any combination of skills, knowledge and abilities that meet these requirements. Valid driver’s license is required. Occasional weekend work required.
General maintenance work including but not limited to: landscape and/or maintenance of grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment. Will typically perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, chemical application, and installation of mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units, planting, irrigation installation operation and repair, equipment upkeep and repair, snow and ice removal, concrete flat work. May also perform general preventive maintenance and minor repair/maintenance on motorized equipment. In-depth tree knowledge a plus. Nebraska Applicator License a plus.
