Masters degree required, terminal degree strongly preferred. Terminal degree required for tenure. The ideal candidate will have a terminal degree in Psychology, earned professional certifications/license, significant professional counseling experience, the capacity to conduct research, and successful teaching experience.
Teaching up to a 12 hour load per semester of online and onsite undergraduate courses, advising and mentoring students, providing service to the College, active participation in campus life on main campus in Peru, NE, and implementing an active professional development/academic discipline contribution plan. Faculty members are expected to demonstrate commitments to continuous improvement of instructional practices and student engagement in and outside the traditional learning space.
