Graduate degree required, terminal degree strongly preferred. Terminal degree required for tenure. The ideal candidate will have a terminal degree in an area involving quantitative methods and/or instruction, significant professional experience, the capacity to conduct instructional practices research and successful teaching experience. Experience/interest in online instruction, preparing teacher candidates and integrating technology into courses strongly preferred.
Teaching a 12 hour load per semester of online and onsite undergraduate and/or graduate courses, advising and mentoring students, providing service to the College, active participation in campus life on main campus in Peru, NE, and implementing an active professional development/academic discipline contribution plan. Faculty members are expected to demonstrate commitments to continuous improvement of instructional practices and student engagement in and outside the traditional learning space.
