Nine month contract salary mid $40’s to mid $50’s, depending upon qualifications. Opportunity for additional summer pay. Excellent benefits package.


Graduate degree required, M.F.A. or other terminal degree strongly preferred.  Terminal degree required for tenure.  The ideal candidate will have strong credentials and training in an area involving art and/or art instruction, significant professional experience in creative work involving graphic design with a focus on digital illustration, imaging and layout, strong technical software and computer skills, and expertise with ADOBE Creative Cloud.  Previous teaching experience strongly preferred.  Program development experience and entrepreneurial qualities are particularly valued.


Teaching a 12 hour load per semester of onsite, and occasionally online, undergraduate courses, advising and mentoring students, providing service to the College, active participation in campus life on main campus in Peru, NE, and implementing an active professional development/academic discipline contribution plan.  Faculty members are expected to demonstrate commitments to continuous improvement of instructional practices and student engagement in and outside the traditional learning space.
