Graduate degree required, terminal degree (other than JD for this position) strongly preferred.  Terminal degree required for tenure.  The ideal candidate will have significant graduate coursework in economics and/or other quantitative disciplines, significant professional experience, the capacity to conduct research and successful teaching experience.  Experience/interest in online instruction and integrating community projects and technology into courses strongly preferred.

Teaching a 12 hour load per semester of online and onsite undergraduate and/or graduate courses, advising and mentoring students, providing service to the College, active participation in campus life on main campus in Peru, NE, and implementing an active professional development/academic discipline contribution plan.  Faculty members are expected to demonstrate commitments to continuous improvement of instructional practices and student engagement in and outside the traditional learning space.  Incumbent will teach entry level economics courses, Quantitative Business Methods, and occasionally other introductory quantitative courses in finance or operations management depending on expertise.
