Position:

Information Technology Specialist – Web application developer

 

Start Date: Application review begins immediately and will continue until the position is filled.
Salary:

Salary range Low $40’s to mid $50’s commensurate with experience, skills, and qualifications.  Excellent benefits package.

Qualifications:

An associates degree with computer systems or software development emphasis or equivalent experience.  Attention to detail, analytical skills, and organizational and problem-solving ability is required. Experience configuring and administering web applications within Microsoft IIS is desired.  Knowledge, experience or education in the following technology is desired: HTML, CSS, HTML5, JavaScript, Ruby, MySQL, MS SQLServer, ASP, IIS, Adobe Flash, Action Script, jQuery, XML, AJAX.  Knowledge of best practices and W3C standards for development of internally and externally deployed web pages.  Education in or experience with .NET and java is also desired.

 

Responsibilities:

Principle duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Executing and validating the installation, configuration, monitoring and maintenance of web applications and the data-sources that support these applications. Coordinate and provide support for web application software incorporating end-user requirements.  Responsible for creating, prototyping and maintaining database-fed, engaging, secure web applications. Develop and maintain data ETL routines from various data sources to create web-consumable information.
