Graduate Assistant - Fusion Coordinator/Conference Coordinator

11-month appointment with the opportunity of renewal after the first year.
Compensation will be an annual $7,500 stipend, graduate school tuition (student fee portion of online tuition rate and books will be the student’s responsibility), a fully furnished campus housing unit and a meal plan during the academic year, based upon the dining services hours of operation.
Bachelor’s degree required, as well as admission to a graduate program of the College. A background in residence life/student affairs/conferencing strongly preferred. Must complete coursework in an accurate and timely manner, including actively participating and preparing for all classes in which enrolled. Must maintain a minimum of 3.0 cumulative grade point average and eligibility to continue enrollment in the graduate program. This eleven-month position requires work hours outside of the normal workweek, including evening, weekend and holiday hours.
The Graduate Assistant will participate as an active member of the Residence Life staff and will support and assist in fulfilling the mission of the Residence Life Department and Peru State College. This is a live-in position, with housing located in the Centennial Complex. The position will provide supervision for residence hall staff and residents in the Fusion Program. The Graduate Assistant will assist with all conference services and space reservation duties, including but not limited to logistics, pre and post planning, and on-site hosting of clients.
