Graduate Assistant - Athletic Training (2 openings)

10-month appointments (Aug – May) with the opportunity of renewal after the first year.
Compensation will be an annual $6,200 stipend, 18 hours graduate school tuition per year (student fee portion of online tuition rate and books will be the student’s responsibility), and state and national certification /licensure fees. Potential adjunct teaching for additional pay.
These are two year assistantships that require a bachelor’s degree in athletic training or related field from a CAATE-approved athletic training education program. BOC Certification and Nebraska State Licensure required before start date. Applicants must be accepted into a graduate program of study (online) at one of the three state colleges. PSC is a NAIA athletic institution that supports 9 athletic teams. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, practice coverage, travel, and other duties as assigned by the Head Athletic Trainer. This position will report directly to the Head Athletic Trainer. Sport assignments may include a combination of men’s basketball, women’s basketball, softball, or volleyball.
