Position:
Assistant Coach (Football) – 2 positions available - one offense and one defense

 

 

Start Date: Application review begins immediately and will continue until the position is filled.
Salary: Salary range- Upper-$20,000’s depending upon qualifications and experience. Excellent benefit package. These are 11-month positions.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in physical education, recreation, health, or related field plus coaching experience required.  Must have knowledge of NAIA rules and regulations.   Assistant Coaches with teaching assignments are required to have a Master’s degree. Ability to work in an environment where the education, welfare, and graduation of student-athletes receive primary emphasis and strong communication, administrative and organizational skills required. Sensitivity to diversity and equity issues also required.

Responsibilities:

Principle duties for one position include serving as the recruitment coordinator and coaching the offensive line. Principle duties for the second position include serving as the strength and conditioning coordinator, field/equipment manager and coaching a position on defense.  Both positions will have video editing, game tape exchange, game management, facilities coordination, weight room management, work study, graduate assistant and student coach supervision. Other duties as assigned by the football coach and  possible teaching and/or administrative duties as assigned by Athletic Director.
