Salary:

$29,000. Excellent benefit package.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required. Successful candidates must demonstrate: excellent communication and organizational skills, experience with public speaking, demonstrated customer service skills, an ability to relate to people of all age groups, academic abilities and cultures, and experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint) and Internet applications. Previous experience working with prospective college students is preferred as well as extensive campus involvement as an undergraduate and an enthusiasm for representing Peru State College to the public.

Responsibilities:

Peru State College is seeking applications for an Admission Representative. Members of the Admissions team contribute to the overall recruitment efforts of the college as well as plan and implement programs for attracting and matriculating students at the undergraduate and graduate level including online students at both levels. This position will focus on out-of-state recruitment. Regional travel is expected and non-standard hours may be required.

 

This position will focus on freshman recruitment with an assigned recruitment territory focused on out-of-state students. Responsibilities include: advising prospective students of the admission process and steps to enrolling, attending recruiting and informational events to represent the college,  communicating with prospective students by telephone, email, personal notes and various types of social media, assisting in the coordination of campus visits, tours and events for prospective students and their parents, making presentations to support the recruitment efforts of the college, and assisting with the development and revision of office policies and procedures.
