For on-campus classes: $700 per credit hour for courses with 10 or more enrolled. On the rare occasion that an on-site course is allowed to meet with fewer than 10 students; payment will be at $70 per student per credit hour if approved. If enrollment is below college expectations for any class, the class may be cancelled and no compensation would be paid. For on-line courses:
$50 per student, per credit hour for the first 10 students and $34 per student, per credit hour for every student after.If enrollment is below college expectations for any class, the class may be cancelled and no compensation would be paid.
This position is for evening classes from 6:30 to 9:15 Monday through Wednesday evenings, and the classes include Business; Professional Ethics, Group Work, Techniques of Counseling, Assessment, Evaluation and Casework Management, Medical and Treatment Issues in Chemical Dependency, Diversity Issues in Counseling, and Addictions. The preferred degree for the adjunct will be at least a Master’s in Social Work or Counseling and Nebraska Licensure as a LMHP or MSW.
Online only adjuncts are needed to instruct Upper Division (300-400) level classes in Business Finance and Accounting for Fall 2014 and Spring 2015. Prefer candidates who possess licensure as a CPA and an MBA or MA with a focus in Accounting or Finance. Online teaching experience preferred, however, willing to train right individual who is student centered.
All adjuncts must be willing to respond to students on a daily basis, be comfortable creating digital presentations for online use, and be highly responsive to student needs. Adjunct instructors are employed solely based on the needs of the campus.
