Upcoming Alumni and Foundation Events

The NAA works to bring alumni together by providing opportunities for involvement. Alumni events, such as reunions and Homecoming activities, connect alumni to the College and to each other. In addition, other opportunities coordinated by PSC athletics and the Peru State College Foundation are included below.

Purchase your copy of Nebraska’s First College: Shaping the Future Since 1867 by Dan Sullivan at the Bookworm in Omaha and have it signed by the author at this book signing meet and greet.

This book celebrates Peru State College’s sesquicentennial with a look back through the remarkable story that began with a vision on a hilltop in Peru.

Books cost $39.95 and may be purchased online or at the Bookworm starting November 19.

Bobcat Alumni Chili Feed

You are invited to the Peru State National Alumni Association Annual Chili Feed!

Bobcats vs. Benedictin College

Women’s game begins at 2 p.m.
Men’s game begins at 4 p.m.

Chili will be served at 2:30 p.m. with halftime entertainment provided by Gary’s Tumbling.

Free will donation accepted.

Annual Alumni Events

10, 30 and 50-Year Reunions

During Homecoming weekend of 2018 the Peru State Foundation will be hosting reunion celebrations for the 10, 30 and 50 -year reunions.  Alumni from the graduating classes of 1968, 1988 and 2008 are invited back to campus to celebrate their graduation milestone! Members of 1967, 1969, 1987, 1989, 2007 and 2009 are also invited to celebrate with their friends and classmates.

The event will include tours, dinner and mingling with classmates on Friday, October 5 and Homecoming festivities on Saturday, October 6, members can choose to take part in the parade if they wish. If you would like more information contact (402) 872-2304, or PSCFoundation@Peru.edu.

 

Athletic Hall of Fame

Peru State College athletes, coaches and others honored as inductees into the Hall of Fame are recognized for their superlative achievements. They represent the legion of Bobcats who have contributed to Peru State College’s rich athletic tradition.

The purpose of PSC’s Athletic Hall of Fame is to foster an appreciation of the past, an enjoyment of the present and an anticipation of future memories to be made by the Bobcat’s flourishing 9-sport athletic program. Each year a dinner and induction ceremony is held to honor these athletes.  The date for the 2018 dinner is September 21 and the induction will take place on September 22.
