Bio:
Dr. Kristi Preisman is an Assistant Professor for the School of Education at Peru State College. Her primary responsibilities include teaching graduate courses in curriculum and instruction, advising undergraduate and graduate students, and research in the areas of teacher preparation and mentoring and induction of beginning teachers.
Dr. Preisman received her bachelors in Education with an endorsement in speech, theatre, and psychology from the University of Nebraska-Kearney and after teaching for three years at Marian Hugh School in Omaha, she went on to complete her Masters in Secondary Education from the University of Nebraska-Omaha. She then attended the University of Texas- Austin and completed her doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction.
She resides on Papillion, Nebraska with her husband, Dave, and has three children, Brendan, Ethan and Colsen.
