Application Process
Students wishing to take college courses for college credit only may do so under a personal enrichment standing at the college. Such courses will follow the regular admission process for applicants to the college. Students must:
- Apply for admission online
- Register for courses through CatsOnline self-service system
- Pay the bill by the deadlines indicated by the Business Office
- Complete the course
- Request transcripts from Peru State College
Course Registration
Students will register for college credit courses through the CatsOnline system operated by Peru State College. This system is an online student self-service system which will allow students to register for classes, drop/add classes, update address information and pay their bill. The link to the system can be found on the College’s homepage at www.peru.edu.
Once a student has applied for admission, they will be sent a student ID number with instructions on how to log in to the CatsOnline system for registration. Students will need the 5-digit call number found in the schedule of classes in order to register.

E-mail Address: ALL STUDENTS will be required to use the college issued Acornmail account.
Acornmail access:
WEBSITE: http://acornmail.peru.edu
USER ID: jodoe (this is an example) you will insert the first 2 letters of your first name and your entire last name, no spaces.
PASSWORD: JOSEPH (this is an example) you will insert your legal given name in all CAPITOL letters.
Blackboard access:
WEBSITE: http://perustatecollege.blackboard.com/
USERNAME: your first and last name in all lower case, no spaces.
PASSWORD: Your student id number (no dashes or spaces). This number has been given through the Welcome letter from Admissions and will be given on your billing statement. After the initial time you enter Blackboard, you can change your password. Please make note of your new password so that you can continue with your online courses.
