Finding Your NUID:
If you do not know your NUID, these steps will walk you through retrieving it.
Clearing Browser Cache:

Changing your Password in Blackboard:
Once you have logged into Blackboard for the first time, we strongly recommend that you change your password.
Viewing Your Instructor's Feedback:
Students are able to view the instructor's exam feedback in their 'My Grades' area
Internet Explorer Users- 'My Blackboard' and 'Courses' Tabs Missing:
If the "My Blackboard" and "Courses" tabs fail to appear in the upper-right, top frame of your browser, you are most likely using an usupported version of Internet Explorer.
Only the 'Announcements' Page Appears:
Navigational change in Blackboard that allows students to access only their 'Announcements' page or to hide their course menu
Course Links/Buttons are Missing:

"Only Secure Content is Displayed" or " Security Warning" Messages
A security warning prompt will appear when trying to view outside content, such as a YouTube video.
Internet Explorer Users - Credentials When Opening MS Office Files in Blackboard
A credentials prompt will appear when trying to open Microsoft Office files in Blackboard.
Mac Users- Blank Discussion Board Posts:

HTTP Status 404 reported by Apache Tomcat/5.0.28:
Error received when uploading a document into Blackboard which has been given a file name the server does not understand
Windows 7 Users - with IE and MS Office 2010 may experience the following issues when opening Office documents from Blackboard (while using Internet Explorer):

Blank Screen in Office 2007 PowerPoint:
An issue caused by a bug in Microsoft Office 2007, when opening a PowerPoint in Blackboard
Assignments Do Not Have a Link for Completion:
The assignment links in the newest version of Blackboard no longer have a 'View/Complete' link at the bottom of assignment instructions. Students must simply click on the assignment title to complete the assignment. Note: Assignments through SafeAssign still have a 'View/Complete' link.
