Hardware:
A computer bought after 2005 will more than likely be just fine.  Specifically, you will need a CPU 1.5 GHZ or greater and RAM 1 GB or greater.

Operating System:
PC: XP or greater
Mac: OS 10.4 or greater

Internet Browser:
Internet Explorer 7.0 or 8.0
Firefox: 3.0 or greater
Mac users need to install Firefox for their Blackboard course work.

Students need Java installed on their computer to use certain Blackboard features. Broadband Internet is recommended.

Submitting Work:
All documents, presentations, spreadsheets, etc., that are uploaded to Blackboard need to be saved in Office format (.doc, .docx, .ppt, .pptx, .xls, .xlsx extensions).
