Change Visual Textbox Settings in Blackboard

You will need to be logged-in to your Blackboard course to complete the change. Once at the course ‘home’ page (navigation buttons should be to your left and announcements should be shown in the right pane), follow the steps below:

1. Click on the Tools button in the left navigation.
   
   
2. Click on the Personal Information link.
   
   
3. Click on the Set Visual Text Box Editor Options link.
   
   
4. Under 1) Manage Visual Text Box Editor, change the Availability to ‘Unavailable’ and click Submit. If the setting was already set at Unavailable, change it to ‘Available.’
