I direct a variety of assessment processes and oversee the student service programs housed in the Center for Achievement and Transition Services (CATS). I am the person to contact for questions about:

I have worked for Peru State College since 2002, when my husband and I both joined the faculty here, he as a professor of art and graphic design and I as an interim director of field experiences and instructor for the School of Education and Graduate Studies. I left that position after two years but continued to teach on an adjunct basis while pursuing other interests. I returned about a year later to serve as director for the TRIO-SSS project, which I did for three years before moving to my current position in 2008.

I love working in higher education. I started my own college experience as a non-traditional student just looking to improve my life and soon discovered that college was about so much more than a diploma. College opened my eyes to a world full of fascinating ideas, information, and insights, and I got hooked on learning and seeing life from new perspectives! Because college made such a profound difference for me, I now do what I can to foster other people's discovery of the value and joy of learning.
