For the past eleven years, I have been the Tutorial/ADA Services Coordinator at Peru State College. My responsibilities include: Assisting students who self-identify with learning or physical disabilities; hiring, training, supervising and scheduling peer tutors who work in the walk-in tutoring lab in the CATS and evening tutoring hours in the library; and assisting students who are on academic probation and transfer students who enter PSC on a provisional basis.

Many free services are offered to PSC students, and I also let students know what is available and where to find help.

When I am not at work, I enjoy living in Peru and taking part in community activities.  Since my family members are scattered from Germany to Washington state, I also love to travel.  My daughter and granddaughter constantly amaze me with their wonderful accomplishments, so I have to admit to wishing I lived closer to them . . . or they lived closer to me. 

I find my work very fulfilling. I am able to see evidence of each student’s incredible growth over the period of four years; what a great opportunity!
