As Coordinator of Cooperative Programs, I am responsible for a number of services that assist students in career preparation. These services include supervising the internship class, advising undeclared students, managing Career Services and maintaining the Career Services website. I assist students in finding an internship that is aligned with their major to earn college credit while gaining work experience. Advising undeclared students gives me an opportunity to determine student’s interests, skills and aptitudes and consequently guide them to career options. As manager of Career Services, I give workshop presentations on job preparation, host the annual career fair, critique application forms, edit the career services website, and administrate the JobZone, PSC’s job posting site.
