Peru State's Alyssa Mangum Named MCAC Player of the Week

Bobcat SoftballJunior catcher Alyssa Mangum of Peru State College has been named MCAC Softball Player of the Week for the week ending March 14.


Mangum a native of Nebraska City, Neb., hit .375 (9-for-24) with three homers, nine RBI and six runs scored over eight games last week for the Bobcats. In a 6-5 win over Viterbo, she went 3-for-4 with two home runs, two RBI, three runs scored and a double.

 

The Cats are currently 8-10 overall and will host Benedictine on March 17th at 3:00pm at the Centennial Complex on the campus of Peru State
