Peru, NE – The Bobcat Basketball program and Head Coach Troy Katen announced that Omaha Skutt standout, Ryan Hildebrandt has signed a letter of intent to play for the Cats next fall.

Ryan Hildebrandt has signed a national letter of intent to join the Peru State Men’s Basketball team next year.  The 6’2 combo guard joins the Bobcats after a career at Omaha Skutt High School where he played for Head Coach Jon Burt.  Ryan helped lead Skutt to the 2009 Nebraska Boys State Basketball Championships this spring.  He is the son of Brad and Jeanne Hildebrandt.   Brad Hildebrandt is the Head Wrestling Coach at Omaha Skutt.  Ryan was a two sport athlete at Skutt in football and basketball.  He was an all-conference, all-district and all-state selection in both sports.  Currently Ryan is undecided in a major.

“Ryan is a great athlete that is a hard-nose player.  He has great court awareness and moves well without the ball.  He has great range on his jumper that allows him to be hard to guard,” mentioned Coach Katen.
