Peru, NE – The Peru State College Men’s Basketball program and Head Coach Troy Katen announced that Dan Briggs has signed a letter of intent to play for the Bobcats.
Briggs is a 6’10 center from Kansas City, MO. He attended Park Hill High School where he averaged 10 points, 10 rebounds and five assists for the Trojans. He is the son of Don and Sherry Briggs. This fall, he plans to major in Physical Education.
Coach Katen mentions, “Dan has great size and gives us another big body inside to wear teams down. He’s got good court vision in the post and tremendous ability to hit the open man from there. He’ll allow us to attack the boards on both ends to start our break quicker.”
