Bobcats picked second in 2010 MCAC Baseball Coaches' Poll

POINT LOOKOUT, MO. - Bellevue University has been selected as the top team in the 2010 MCAC Baseball Preseason Coaches' Poll released Tuesday (Feb. 2).


The Bruins, who enter the 2010 season ranked 10th in the NAIA Preseason Top 25, recorded a 41-12 record (21-3 MCAC) last season, capturing both the MCAC regular season and postseason tournament titles. Bellevue has claimed the league's regular season crown in each of the past three seasons.

 

Peru State College ranks second in the preseason league poll after going 30-22 (14-10 MCAC) in 2009. York College, which posted a 28-23 overall record (10-10 MCAC) in 2009, was picked third by the MCAC coaches.

Rounding out the poll are the College of the Ozarks (4th), Oklahoma Wesleyan University (5th) and Central Christian College.
