Welcome to the Peru State College Admissions site! I am Micki Willis, the Director of Admissions & Recruitment. I have been with the college now for eight years and am starting my third year as director.
I currently work with students from Otoe, Nemaha and Richardson counties in Nebraska. I also assist all international students with their admissions process. If you visit campus, you are likely to meet me for your admissions talk where we discuss admissions information, cost, scholarships, housing options and everyone’s favorite, financial aid! I enjoy meeting with students and helping you find the right fit for your college education.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and Master of Arts degree in Management from Doane College. A Wilber, Nebraska native (yes, I am 100% Czech), I currently live in Auburn, Nebraska with my husband, JJ, and our two children, Rylan and Clayton.
Peru State College is like a small private college but at the public school cost. We offer an atmosphere rich with personal experiences and the flexibility for students of any age to complete their degree. I would encourage you to visit our beautiful “Campus of a Thousand Oaks” to find out if PSC is the right fit for you. Jari Wehmeier is originally from Hampton, NE, graduating from Hampton High School.
Jari is a recent graduate of Peru State College receiving a B.S. in Criminal Justice Administration. Jari will continue her position as Senior Resident Assistant at Morgan Hall as well as the Assistant Cheerleading Coach.
During Jari's free time she spends as much time as she can with her boyfriend, Tom. She also enjoys shopping, getting pedicures, spending time outdoors, and making new memories. Jari will be traveling the Lincoln are and will have the pleasure of traveling to her native stomping grounds. |

Wende Bergmeier is a recent graduate of Peru State College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Computer & Management Information Systems. Wende currently works as an Admissions Representative overseeing the coordination of transfer students and adult learners. She believes in superior customer service and that students are our greatest customers.
Wende and her family live on an acreage north west of Auburn, Nebraska. When not at work, Wende enjoys gardening, camping, and traveling with her family. |

Barbara Jones is a native Southeast Nebraskan growing up in the Verdon and Falls City area. Barb met husband Larry at Peru State College where they both graduated with teaching degrees, Barb in '73 and Larry in '72. After a brief sojourn in Omaha they returned to live in Peru in 1977, raising two sons and daughter here. Barb has held various positions through the years always using her teaching skills gotten from PSC. She traveled the world as a production manager for international distributed catalogs but always appreciated coming home to the peace and beauty of Peru. From 1997-2001, Barb was Assistant Manager of the Bobcat Bookstore and is currently a Staff Assistant in the office of Admissions. A passionate arctophile (Teddy Bear collector) Barb has a house of cuddly friends that she shares with her grandchildren. She is an avid reader, loves to travel with her husband and dabbles in antique hunting and crafting. |
