Student Support Services (SSS), a federally funded TRIO program, is housed in the CATS. SSS is an effective outreach program, focusing on student success and retention through a variety of academic and social support services. Peer tutoring, peer mentoring, advising, and cultural enrichment activities are available. Participants benefit by interacting with a great group of students and caring professionals. To hear more about becoming a participant in Student Support Services, please visit the SSS offices in the CATS or call 872-2305. Students who have not yet chosen a major area of study may wish to visit the CATS and complete career assessments. The tools help you identify your interests, aptitudes, skills, abilities, values, goals, etc. These evaluations provide you with information that will guide you in your further exploration of your career choices. You may also want to discuss internships, informational interviewing, and job shadowing with CATS staff.
