Peru State College’s Sesquicentennial All-College Reunion: June 16-18, 2017

Alumni and friends are invited to the first All-College Reunion as Peru State College celebrates its sesquicentennial.

“This will be an event like no other,” said Deborah Solie, Director of Alumni Relations and Annual Giving.  “We are anticipating a big crowd of alumni eager to return to campus and relive memories.  As a bonus, attendees will have the opportunity to stay in Morgan Hall and the Centennial Complex!”

All-College Reunion highlights include:

  • 150th Peru State College Book Launch Party
  • President’s All-College Dinner
  • Newly renovated Delzell tours
  • Faculty presentations
  • Bobcat Block Party featuring a wine walk, music and good food
  • Bonfire at Sapp Plaza

Friday, June 16

3-6 p.m.                               Registration and Lodging Check-In Opens – Visitor’s Center, Schoolhouse, Park Ave. and 5th Ave.

3-6 p.m.                               Campus Tours Led by PSC Students – Depart from Visitor’s Center, Park Ave. and 5th Ave.

4-6 p.m.                               Frisbee Disc Golf – Discs available at the Visitor’s Center


5-6 p.m.                               Story time for Children (Led by Education Students) – Library

6 p.m.                                   Book Launch Party and Social Hour – Student Center

7 p.m.                                   President’s All-College Dinner and Alumni Awards Featuring the Ethnic Singer to Honor the Memory of Former Group Member, Mike Janis – Student Center

9-11 p.m.                             Catching up with Friends

Saturday, June 17

Throughout the day          Class photos (times designated closer to event) – Designated social areas based on decade

7 a.m.-5 p.m.                     Registration and Welcome Center Opens – Visitor’s Center, Schoolhouse

7-9 a.m.                                Breakfast – Sit with classmates from the same decades! – Student Center

9-11 a.m.                             Activities Open; Tours Depart Every 30 Minutes

  • Campus tours led by student ambassadors
  • College memorabilia (visitor’s center, archives, AWAC)
  • Oak Bowl/Fieldhouse tours
  • Peru Museum open
  • Frisbee disc golf
  • Splash pad for kids opens

  • Benefit performance by theatre alumni
  • Phi Alpha Theta history students provide history of campus

8:30 p.m.                             Bonfire with music – Sapp Plaza

9-11 p.m.                             VFW and Zach’s provide specials and entertainment

Sunday June 18

7-10 a.m.                             Breakfast – Student Center

8-10:30 a.m.                       Check-out of lodging

11 a.m. Church service in the AWAC led by local pastors and alumni
